These kinds of metaphors are bad for me because my first urge is to get out a hue chart and determine where red turns purple and purple turns blue, and my SECOND urge is to repeat that with color definitions in other languages, ones that don’t split colors up into eleven words (red orange yellow green blue violet black brown white gray pink) but, for example, TWELVE like the italians and russians (blue is split into blue and azure), and-
And then my mind is off into 5 different directions and I’ve forgotten the original, perfectly reasonable point, which I actually agree with completely despite being christian.
